Biloxi was Fantastic!!!
What a weekend to remember. They had a Scratch It Rich promotion where you enter a drawing with tickets and if they call your name you have a chance to win Free Play - Well they finally called my name and it was the last drawing of the night and I won the Top prize of $4000 in Free Play - OMG I was like a five year old I was so excited.
Needless to say Mike and I played all the machines we wanted to play and had a great time. Funny though you think with all that Free Play we would have won a larger jackpot But nothing $600 was the most we won off a $5 dollar slot.
Now we are home and reality has set back in, I have made a promise to Mike that we will not be going back to Tampa for a long while considering we never win there, and we really want to get back on track with the bills and maybe save up for a boat, So I have to be good. Time will tell. I will have to find another means of entertainment. Maybe Scratch Offs lol.

Tomorrows The Day
So tomorrow we are leaving for Biloxi, Part of me can't wait and part of me wishes we had more time to make more money to have a better time. One of the worse feeling is going there and running out of money and having 2 days left with nothing to do. I think Mike is taking his swimming trunks to go to the sauna, I do not think I am going to take mine.
I hope that we win in the Invitational on Saturday night for the Prize is Right - The Beaus version of the Price Is Right - Lots of Freeplay to give away I just hope we are on the winning team this time around.
I bought a new $20 scratch off yesterday and won $20 ok that is a let down, I was so excited to get a number and I am like oh be the big one and then I got the $20 and I am like that is not winning that is just getting your money back. So with the $20 at a different store I bought another one and Guess What? I won another $20 dollars - Whatever!!!
No No Gambleing Fairy Big Bucks Big Big Bucks lol Pleaaaassssseeeee!!!!!
A Clerk at Sweetbay said to me " Do you know that Gambleing is looked upon as a Sin" and I am like " Open the Gates of Hell because I am Guilty" he said he was to so I said" See you there" and left . . . . Now even the clerks are praising the words of the Bible . . .

So last night was a struggle for me, It was our 29th Anniversary and of course I wanted to go to The Hard Rock and play and Gamble but we had just gone out Sunday night and said that we were celebrating our anniversary, Plus we are going to Biloxi this weekend. I am having such a problem with that, See I am making progress, It is just slow.
At least I am recalling the bad feeling of having run out of money and not being able to play and still having 2 days left to be there and that is why I am thinking about not going, Really I am. . . . .
Went out with my mom this morning and was going to talk things over with her but decided it would become a sermon talk and I was really not wanting that, I know what needs to be done I just have to find the strenght to do it, Right now I have nothing going on in my life that would trump it, I take care of the smartest grandaughter there is 18 months and she knows how to put on an adult seatbelt and clip it in amazing, My kids were above average but she just blows me away. We pass Mcdonalds and she goes Nanny I eat. . . .
I will probably spend the rest of the day beating myself up about this weekend and we will probably go with hardly any money again so we are stuck in the room for another 2 days, Saturday night we have comped tickets to see Cheech and Chong and take part in the Prize is Right Game (By invitation only) But there is still the days to get through so we will see what we decide.

I have been trying to go back and figure out when Gambleing became so addictive - I mean I always loved playing scratch offs and daily lotto's, Mike and I went out on the Gambleming boats once here is Florida on a monthly basis for a date night but somewhere going with $100 dollars turn into $500 then $1000, and almost twice a week to The Casino.
Looking at the Gamblers Anonymous Web site I realized wow I answered yes to alot of the questions, though I do not agree with some of the questions, I do see myself in them. Just recently I think I crossed the line with the Bill money, I have NEVER used the bill money to fund my Gambleing - See part of me does not feel like I have a problem I just like to get away from the stress and think of nothing else but having fun, BUT according to the web site and my family I seem to have a problem and I guess thinking well there is more money coming in so why not touch the Bill money was wrong, very wrong.
My husband of now 29 years goes with me and spends the money right along with me, Even allowing me to use the Debit Card to take just alittle more money, Then gives me a 45 minute sermon on the way home on how much we wasted at the Devils Lair as he calls it. But really never says no we need to leave , Because the truth is he has just as much fun going as I do.
What I always try and remind myself is that feeling of loosing and the quiet drive on the way home, that we both do thinking about what bad people we are and my husband thinking about what he could have done with the money lost. Sometimes I block it out and just think of the next day, Other times I drone on what we did so by the time I reach home my stomach feels like throwing up. Then there are other times when we win $500, $1000 or even $5000 that makes it ok to go.
Our new Romp is Biloxi, MS. I am not sure how it happened really I am not sure BUT we are on their VIP list and get fully comped trips with Freeplay, Food and Rooms monthly. We are treated to Limo service and endless Promotions, We aren't high rollers, We are middle of the road scrape the last dime out of our Checking accounts and go type of people. We have money for the first 2 days of the four day weekend trip and then write checks to get us through and then pray we can cover them if we get back without winning. But I love to go and love getting away from all the stress again until we come home.
I think of the Gambers Anonymous Web Site as I sit here typing and I guess I have a little bit more to go until I can stomach a 12 step program. You have to do alot of praying to God or a higher power for strenght Gosh I do that already, You have to admit you have a problem Gambleing and I do, and you have to want to stop, See thats where the problem comes in, I love to gamble, I love the slots, I love to Win and as long as the Electric is on and the Bills are paid and the Rent is paid I do not see a problem. I guess I have a long way to go. . . . . .
